Design Thinking 

First is my patent in HTC, I design a convenient way to answer the phone and unlock it. It's a kind of metaverse. (2012)
Next is a quick way to look at your notification on phone, it is my second patent.(2013) 
The third is a 360-degree immersed shopping experience. (2016)
The fourth one is “Microplay”, this idea came out with a large phone and smartwatch. (2014)


About Patent

In htc, they have a patent review board website, the patent team will see if the idea is worth applying. It is not easy to pass the review and get a patent, because it costs a lot to apply for a patent and maintain it. The patent reviews every idea carefully.

Paten 1. Listen for you. (2012)

We both are used to answering the phone with the right orientation, the handset on top, and the speaker at bottom of the phone. But what if you can just pick up the phone without mentioning the orientation of the phone? It would be more convenient. This patent uses the G-sensor of the phone to set the speaker and handset at the right orientation always. Users don't pay attention to what direction to answer the phone This patent allows users could answer the phone more directly and quickly.

Paten 2. Just peek. (2013)

In that time the smartphone notifications did not manage very well, it always allows apps to notify and disturb you all the time. Sometimes the notifications are important, some are not. Users could you "Just peek" function to get a glance to know the content of the notification. So users can decide whether they have to unlock to reply notification such as family's message or do nothing with bothering notification.

360+ Online Shopping Experience. (2016)

This project was for a furniture company, they want ro build an online store.I interviewed 8 of our target users who are 25~47 years old with online shopping experience. We found 6 points that will affect their decision of online shipping.
1. Refundable: It can decrease the uncertainty to buy things online.
2. Clear picture and detailed wording of product.
3. Nice scenario : products with beauty setting
4. Buy on the web and apps crossly .
5. Product ranking is important.
6. Large items like furniture and beds and the offline experience are important.

Furniture online shopping experience design.

Based on the above research we design a new way to shop furniture online.
Users can see the 360 degree of interior design of the space.
Users can use an AR app to place the furniture in their room to see what it would be like.

Mcroplay

Since the Samsung note series were released , the smartphone has become larger and larger. This design is integrated with smartwatch. If the app is designed with smartwatch then the UI and UX could integrate with Microplay to phone seamlessly. Users could choose 4 cubes or six cubes in a smartphone in order to use Microplay in the phone.
